When we visited BlogOn, Ethan was super excited to see this new set of collectible, mini-figures and the vehicles that go with them. Introducing this summers most wanted toy – Action Heroes.
Action Heroes are interchangeable figures which have a pop and swap feature for the head and body pieces. They also feature double-sided faces with different expressions. Ethan loves how he can mix and match the pieces to create new combinations; as he is still very much into his cars, fantasy play and emergency vehicles.
The great thing about Action Heroes is that you can add to the collection at affordable prices and when they have a few pieces they can make their own Action Heroes Town / City. There are two themes to collect, which bring the excitement of the police force and the era of dinosaurs together. You can make your own Dinosaur Land with a brilliant police force controlling them.
Storytelling is the driving force behind this toy, and they want to put the kids in the driving seat of the action.
Ethan got gifted the SWAT Truck [RRP £36.99] and he was very lucky to get sent two smaller sets too which contain the interchangeable characters. The small sets tend to retail for around £12.99 so they make a perfect present if you know someone is getting one of the larger sets for their Birthday or Christmas.
Ethan loved playing with this and creating all sorts of scenarios. Ethan isn’t often quiet, but we didn’t hear a peep for hours whilst he was playing with this truck and switching all the characters around. Ava loved it too and I found her playing away with it the other morning before she even said good morning to us.
It doesn’t take a lot of assembly; the longest part was doing the stickers but as Ethan is older he did all of them himself and followed the instructions.
This would make a brilliant Christmas present, and I have a feeling it will be on a lot of Santa wish lists, so get in there quick and be prepared as it will sell out.
