In our BlogOn goodie bag, we got an Eco Soft Plush Barney for Ezra and I thought I would do a review of the product.
One of the things I really love about this plush is the conscious eco background to it. Both the fabric and the filling of the toys are made from 100% recycled materials and from what I have read that means plastic bottles! The boxes they are using for packaging the items, keep with the environmental theme as the cardboard is sustainably sourced an
At the time of publishing this blog there are 9 characters to collect in the Eco Plush collection, all favourites of the pre-schoolers I know!
- CoComelon’s JJ
- Blippi
- Barney (Ezra loves his)
- Teletubbies Laa-Laa and Po (We need these)
- Peppa Pig
- My Little Pony’s Sunny and Izzy
I wonder which will be next in the collection – maybe Blues Clues or Bluey?
These cuddly toys are so soft to the touch and squish. With it standing at around 8 inches tall they are perfect for Ezra as he can hold it and it isn’t a choking risk. They carry a RRP of £9.99 – £12.99 each which is quite high for a soft toy, but I think that they are a great gift for a first birthday present. The eco factors of it also make me think the price is warranted and I am just a bit of a cheap skate. There is guaranteed to be a character in this range that the toddler in your life would love a soft toy of!
The embroidered green leaf logo on each toy is a cute addition. It shows its eco-conscious credentials and could be a good talking point for older siblings. The soft toys are suitable from 18 months +, however, I have been letting Ezra cuddle his Barney and we have had zero concerns.
