Ezra recently came across Pinocchio and Friends on BBC IPlayer and I have to admit that I love it too!
The beloved Italian fairy tale of Pinocchio has come onto UK screens this year thanks to the Rainbow Group and animation pioneer Iginio Straffi. Pinocchio and Friends is created entirely from the point of view of kids, for kids. It spins the classic with modern imagery and technology.
In this new version, Pinocchio lives in the modern world as a puppet wishing to become a real boy but this time he has the help of a fairy with gorgeous hair. We love how it has still included the original characters, such as Gepetto and Cricket but they have mixed in new characters such as Freeda the pirate doll.
This series has many good points which makes it a parents favourite but the two I really love are Friendship & Adventure. This has quickly become one of our favourite shows and a must watch as it keeps Ezra’s attention with each episode and that is saying something as he often watches something for 5 minutes and walks off like most 1.5 year olds.
