This year we wanted to start making proper family traditions and memories. We started this by going Pumpkin Picking together and now we are visiting a Christmas Tree farm to go see what it is like and to just run around the trees as I think it will be fun – Nick isn’t as sure. We found this Christmas Tree Farm called Alsa Wood Farm in Stansted Mountfitchet Essex and it has lots of great reviews so we thought it would be worth a try.

The Christmas Tree Farm was amazing and if you get there early enough they also sell pre cut trees, potted trees and wreaths. The lady said the wreaths sold out in the first weekend of them being open in NOVEMBER! I have decided that I need to get my hands on one next year as I am desperate for a fresh wreath as it just screams Christmas at me. We are also hoping to have moved by next Christmas so we have agreed that we will get a real tree if we have moved by then as I have always wanted to go pick my own tree – just like in the movies. I cannot wait to go back and get our tree next year I am so excited already – is that sad? Probably but I am always truthful!
