Ethan has been gifted two packs of Anti-bacterial Slime by Canal Toys and it is probably the most excited he has ever been about a gifted product. This product is new to the market and can be purchased in many toy stores including Amazon or Smyths. It is currently selling in Smyths for £3.99 a tub which I don’t personally think is bad considering the price of many other slime related products.
I have to say I am not a slime loving mum, I can’t stand the texture and I find it just ruins whatever it touches but Ethan loves it as do most 8 year old boys so I surrendered when I heard all about the good properties of this slime. I have to say though this slime has started to win me over with its texture and quality as it isn’t runny and has yet to ruin any of my soft furnishings.
This product comes in a pocket-sized container with a nice strong lid that doesn’t leak which is a total selling point for us. It is fun to play with for all children (3+ according to the product but I would say 5+) and its USP is that it has an anti-bacterial formula that’s safe and alcohol free. It is not only fun to play with it also kills up to 99.9% of bacteria on hands and is designed to be used over and over again. The anti-bacterial properties claim to last for a month from opening and then after that it can still be used as ordinary slime.
In a time when we have been told to use hand gel or wash our hands after we touch anything, this is a great alternative as I know some children can be funny about it and it can be a fight with them. As a parent of a 8 year old and soon to be newborn I will do anything for a easy life so this is right up my street.
Overall I like this product and Ethan has said it is the best thing he has been sent so that is a big thumbs up from us and we will be buying more when this one is used up / runs out / ruins my cushions.
