You’ve probably heard your kids talking about Roblox before, even if you don’t know exactly what it is, Ava and her friends LOVE it and play it all the time. Roblox is a digital platform where kids can hang out virtually with friends and play games in immersive, 3D worlds – a bit like Habbo Hotel if you are of my age bracket. Toy manufacturer WowWee have noticed this trend and this is how My Avastars, was created and I knew once I saw it at BlogOn that our Ava needed one.
We are really lucky that we have been gifted a doll to review and share about in our Christmas Toy Reviews on our Instagram Stories.
WowWee has partnered with Roblox to create the My Avastars: RP game, which launched earlier this year and I can tell you now that once Ava tell her friends about it, they will all be playing it 24/7.
The doll line currently has three dolls named KawaiiPie^^, A_VibeThng, and Dreamer 3.0. Each doll comes with their signature outfit and a blank body so you get the enjoyment of unboxing it and dressing it straight away. In the box it also includes a mystery bonus outfit and loads of reusable sticker sheets for more than 100 possible looks in each box. We really like the fact that the stickers are peel-and-repeat stickers and that the kids can remove the outfits with ease and they are chunky enough to be easily moveable. BIG bonus point for me is that the clothing is not dainty and fiddly and there isn’t small chokable parts.
Each My Avastars doll comes with its own code to be redeemed on the Roblox platform within the game “My Avastars: RP”. Ava said she will update me on how good the game is at it is at her mums house. I would recommend this for anyone over the age of 6 but if they want to use the in game features then it would be closer to 8-10 rather than just a dress up doll.
Roblox has various ages on and does require some supervision to enable the user to be safe.

I have seen this in multiple toy stores but here is a link for Dreamer_3.0 – Smyths Toys Store, KawaiiPie^^, Smyths don’t appear to stock the doll called “A_Vibe_Thing” but I have found it on Argos. None of these are affiliate links.
