Can you tell our readers about yourself & your blog?

I’ll describe  myself as a contradiction. And constantly evolving. My blog is a public diary.

Describe how did you first get into blogging?

My mum actually introduced it to me, she’s very supportive.

Can you tell me some of your strengths that really helped you in blogging?

The fact that so many people are silent about the things they experience, I provide relatability. My readers feel seen, heard and validated.

How would you describe your blogging style?

Personal. Very personal.

What do you think is the best service a blogger can provide to his readers?

I think being a Candid writer is best. So words that are broken down and easy to understand.

How do you manage time to run your blog efficiently?

I just finished school, so I was on a break, but to a large extent there’s no pressure. Sometimes it’s a floodgate of content  and other times it’s not. I don’t pressure myself.

How do you want to improve yourself in the next year?

I would love to get a wider reach.  Writing more, I intend on writing more, taking writing exercises. Just writing, and not just when I feel like.

What was your greatest failure and what did you learn from that?

You know those people that things happen to and they cry and are done? That’s how I am, I don’t recall any failure. I don’t consider things as failures. I’ve tried things that didn’t work out and I quit, and try again another time. There are writing competitions I’ve not won. A lot of things, but those are not failures.

Tell me about your proudest blogging achievement?

Every time someone reads and tells me ‘oghome I could relate so much’ or ‘oghome I saw me in this’. Each time is an achievement because I don’t have that, I’m happy to be it to others.

Who has impacted you most in blogging and how?

My Mummy.

What is your greatest achievement outside of blogging?

My character. I’m honestly constantly evolving.

What do you do in your spare time?

Reading. I read a lot.

Where would you like to be in the blogging world five years from now?

I’d like to be known for Quality content.

What was the most challenging moment in your blogging journey so far?

Sometimes I feel like a fraud. Like maybe I’m not a writer, or that I’m not good enough. Low views on my posts get to me too.

Can you name some of your favourite bloggers and explain why they are your favourites?

I would say myself to be honest. Because I’m such a candid writer, that’s very rare.

Anything else you would like the readers to know?

To do whatever the hell they want to do, scared unsure and sometimes even without confidence. Just show up!

Thank you so much to Oghome For answering my questions!
