If you spend much time on Instagram or Tiktok, there’s a high chance you will have seen certain celebrities promoting the HiSmile Teeth Whitening Toothpaste called “V34 Colour Corrector Serum“. The Jenners is are by far the most famous of the endorsers, but I don’t believe it. When a celeb endorses a product, you know that everyone will go and buy it, Prime is a brilliant example of this.
I saw the HiSmile V34 Colour Corrector Serum advertised on a Black Friday offer and I got sucked in and ordered it. This is my honest and truthful account of how I have found it.
What/Who Is HiSmile?
HiSmile is a brand of whitening products founded by two Australians in around 2014. The brand has a huge catalog of products that are advertised as being able to whiten your teeth, like whitening kits and mouthwashes. They have been formulated by the “Hismile Research Centre” and they state it is clinically proven to be effective, quick, and safe.
The brand has been involved in this formula, and that’s why it was also clinically trialed and tested by dentists to ensure that it worked perfectly and didn’t cause any adverse effects. It has been designed to be vegan-friendly, peroxide-free with no SLS, alcohol, parabens, or PEG.
How Does HiSmile V34 Colour Corrector Serum Work?
V34 is designed to brighten teeth by utilising colour correcting technology same as purple shampoo helps lighten blonde hair. V34 is meant to counterbalance the different hues in your teeth, and then it conceals stains and improves brightness.
Positives and Negatives Of V34 Colour Corrector Serum
- Despite being purple, it doesn’t leave any traces
- It has no adverse effects and may be used regularly
- Efficient at balancing teeth shades
- Non-invasive cosmetic treatment
- Best used following a procedure for teeth whitening
- The teeth are not bleached to alter the color. Instead, it only harmonizes your teeth’s cold and warm tones (hue) to produce a brighter shade of white
But, does The V34 Colour Corrector Serum work?
Well if you listen to the TikTok videos and adverts then they say it does but in my personal experience no it doesn’t. The product has been a great success for the brand, but I don’t know if this is because of the great hype on social media or because it works for other people. My teeth aren’t white but according to their advert if I use it regularly I will get whiter teeth. I don’t think personally my teeth have changed at all and I am gutted to have wasted £20 on this product.
I wouldn’t recommend and I wouldn’t buy it again.
